Used 1976 TriumphTR6 Convertible Coupe

The Triumph TR6 was considered a modern classic throughout its entire 1969 to 1976 production run. This is remarkable given the fact that most vehicles require years of communal nostalgic reflection to earn the “collectible status”. The first U.S. production of this vehicle occurred in September 1968 as a 1969 model, and was followed two months later by the world-production.

Inspired by the TR4 body, Karmann Works in West Germany restyled the TR6 to encompass a more square front and rear end. This resulted in a wider looking, very modern build. The inner stampings, passenger compartment, and mechanics between the two was vertically indistinguishable, however the TR6 maintains a greater variety of seat designs.

The TR6 has a number of standard features not common amongst most mass-produced vehicles. These include; the fully independent suspension, full instrumentation set in a walnut-veneer fascia, leather wraps for the steering wheel and shift knob, and adjustable bucket seats. Traditional wire wheels and an attractive steel hardtop were optional additions, as well.

This Triumph TR6 comes with a Green exterior, which is complemented by a Beige interior. It has been expertly serviced by our workshop and has 86,711 miles on the odometer.
