Compare Maserati Levante vs. Competitors

As your in Norwood, we take our job seriously. We know that you need to make the right decision on which luxury SUV to bring home, and we understand that it is our responsibility to give you the guidance you need to make a decision on which brand and which model is right for you. When you see the Maserati Levante near Boston, you understand what makes it so special.

With the sleek lines and powerful engine, a Maserati Levante isn't your average SUV. It's packed with the latest technology and cutting-edge safety features that make every drive an easier experience. Still, with so many luxury SUVs on the market, deciding which to choose can be tough. Porsche, Range Rover, Jaguar, and more SUVs can give you a reason to think twice about which SUV to bring home, but we're prepared to give you reasons why you should choose the Levante over the Cayenne, Range Rover Velar, and Jaguar F-PACE.

Performance

Levante Brings It’s A-Game

The Maserati Levante comes equipped with a powertrain that makes it one of the top performers in the luxury SUV segment. The entry-level engine provides an impressive 345 horsepower, giving this Italian-bred SUV a 0-60 MPH time of about 5.8 seconds. The engines in most of the competition aren’t nearly as powerful, though both the Levante and other luxury SUVs offer additional engine upgrades. The Mercedes GLE offers a 302-horsepower V6. The Jaguar F-PACE offers a relatively meager 247-horsepower. Even the Porsche Cayenne’s standard engine offers a comparatively diminutive 300 horsepower.

Safety

Levante Offers Plentiful Driver Assistance Features

From standard ABS to a suite of standard airbags, traction control, adjustable pedals, and more, the Maserati Levante offers up several standard safety features. Other features, like auto-leveling headlights, lane departure warning, a 360-degree camera, and a blind spot monitor are also available. Many competitors offer similar active safety features. The Mercedes-Benz GLE for instance can be equipped with blind spot monitoring and a surround-view camera. The Jaguar F-PACE does not come standard with a backup camera, though it does have other features like an automatic speed limiter and rain-sensing wipers with other active safety features being available. The Porsche Cayenne, though available with many driver assist features, also offers none as standard fare, unlike the Levante.

Technology

This Maserati Has The Goods to Keep You Connected

You won’t be disappointed in the level of technology you will find in the new Levante SUV – and we’re not just talking about technology designed to keep you and your passengers safe, either. The Levante SUV comes standard with a large and easy-to-use 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. What’s more, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ are standard, and high-end amenities like a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system are available. Competitors’ systems vary. The Mercedes-Benz GLE offers an 8-inch touchscreen system, but smartphone integration is optional, and though Bang & Olufsen audio is available, the speaker count tops off at 14. Similar to the GLE, the Jaguar F-PACE provides an 8-inch touchscreen that is slightly smaller than that of the Levante. Choose the Porsche Cayenne, and you’ll get a mere 7-inch touchscreen – a full 1.4 inches smaller on the diagonal than what the Levante has to offer.

Space and Capacity

Levante Provides Ample Room For Passengers and Cargo

The Levante, the Maserati of SUVs, provides drivers like you from Quincy to Newton and beyond with the agility and performance of a sports car with the premium flair and cachet of a luxury saloon. What’s more, the Levante provides the commanding driving position and capability you’d expect from an SUV. This Maserati model also contains plenty of room for up to five passengers and all their stuff. Fold down the rear seat and you’ll enjoy nearly 60 cubic feet of cargo space. The outlier here is the Mercedes GLE, which provides almost 80 cubic feet of cargo space. Still, the Levante’s maximum cargo capacity is in line with most luxury midsize SUVs like the Porsche Cayenne and Jaguar F-PACE which provide over 60 cubic feet.

How Does the Levante Compare to Other Maserati Models?

When you choose a new Maserati Levante near Newton, you're getting a powerful SUV. The Maserati Quattroporte is another great new Maserati model that deserves a test drive, but how do these two new Maserati models compare to each other? First, the Quattroporte isn't an SUV, but a four-door sedan with a powerful 3.0-liter V6 engine. The Levante is an SUV with a capable 3.0-liter engine that also offers all-wheel drive. The Quattroporte can offer 523 horsepower to the Levante's 345 horsepower, but the Quattroporte cannot offer 20.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row, and 57.4 cubic feet when the seats are folded..

The Maserati Levante is the only SUV in the brand's lineup, and models like the Ghibli and GranTurismo are powerful, but they do not have as much cargo space, and while they do have one trim available with all-wheel drive, only the Levante gives you that driveline on all trim levels. Deciding which Maserati car or coupe is going to be tough, but there can be only one Maserati SUV to bring home, and it's the Levante.

Maserati Levante vs. Range Rover Velar

The Range Rover Velar has the benefit of having been around for longer than the Levante, but the Maserati SUV near Providence, RI, can offer you more horsepower. You'll get between 345 and 590 horsepower with the Maserati Levante SUV, but with the Range Rover Velar SUV, you'll get between 247 and 550 horsepower. The Range Rover Velar also fails to offer a top speed of more than 170 mph, while the Maserati Levante can give you up to 181 mph and acceleration from zero to 60 in 4 seconds. The Velar does give you an extra engine option, but it still falls short in horsepower when compared to the Levante, however, both offer all-wheel drive.

Maserati Levante vs. Porsche Cayenne

While both of these luxury SUVs near Quincy offer all-wheel drive, the Levante gives you more horsepower than the Cayenne right away. You also get more torque in the Levante, and the Maserati SUV offers an available Adaptive LED Matrix that gives you a 200% better field of vision than traditional halogen headlights. The Porsche Cayenne SUV also accelerates from zero to 60 in as little as 4.7 seconds, while the Maserati Levante can do that in as little as 4 seconds.

Maserati Levante vs. Jaguar F-PACE

Both of these luxury models offer all-wheel drive, but the Jaguar F-PACE doesn't give you as much horsepower as the Maserati Levante. The Levante can also accelerate just a hair faster than the F-PACE, which could make all the difference in the end, and with a top speed of 181 mph, the Maserati SUV stands out ahead of the Jaguar model, which only offers up to 176 mph.
